Pronostics will achieve its mission by exploiting technologies originally developed in collaboration with the world renowned Cavendish Laboratory, Medical and Biochemistry Departments at the University of Cambridge, UK.
Pronostics has taken well-established technologies from the microelectronics industry and combined them with existing bioassay technologies to provide laboratory users and physicians with the tagging and tracking benefits of barcodes at a microscopic level. Our powerful multiplexing solution, UltraPlex™, improves the speed, efficiency and cost of clinical diagnostic testing and drug development and combined with our FingerPrint technology is enabling the next generation multivariate diagnostics.
Pronostics has built a strong team with extensive technical and commercial experience gained in high technology and the life sciences, in both R & D and clinical environments and through strong partnerships with leading life science companies, such as bioMérieux , Olympus and Xiril Ag, Pronostics is able to offer UltraPlex™ solutions as fully automated systems and multiplexed kits with walk-away liquid handling and sample preparation, diagnostic analysis and automatic generation of comprehensive results in user-specified simple to read report formats.
Pronostics has a strong Intellectual Property Rights portfolio with granted patents and trade marks on our core proprietary technology. Additional patent rights, which further strengthen Pronostics’s position, have been licensed from 3DMS, a Generics Group company.
